Constantius II, 337-361. Seal (Lead, 10x19 mm, 3.58 g, 12 h). Bare-headed, nimbate, draped and cuirassed facing bust of Constantius, all within rectangular frame. Rev. Female figure standing to left on basis, holding scroll with both hands, all within rectangular frame. CNG 376 (2016), 551 ('Licinius II'). Cf. Leukel N24-N25 (without nimbus and with the figure on the reverse standing right). A very attractive portrait in good style with a rare early depiction of a nimbus. Struck on a small flan, otherwise, extremely fine.
